Welcome to Aspley State High School. At Aspley SHS, we are committed to offering every student a pathway to their future. Our facilities are the envy of any local high school. With a student population of 760 students we are small enough to care about each individual. Our facilities and grounds are not overcrowded and our curriculum is expansive enough to cater for all career pathways. We aim to develop the whole student, both intellectually and emotionally. Our pastoral care program, including camps, recognises the importance of nurturing those values that develop strong and lasting relationships throughout life. Our school is a perfect environment to develop the potential of every student. As Principal, I am committed to developing a safe and tolerant school community. My leadership style and genuine regard for the welfare of all students facilitates open communication between home and school. This successful partnership is so important in the development of your child. Guided by our three core values - Respect, Responsibility and Co-operation - we will continue to produce fine young men and women equipped with the necessary skills to compete in our new and exciting world. Aspley State High School has enjoyed consistent growth over the last 5 years. Our enrolments have grown by 16% as public confidence in our school reforms and programs became known to the community. Our School Opinion Surveys clearly demonstrate the satisfaction of our community in our performance. Our Student and Parent Satisfaction Survey is the highest of any public High School in Brisbane North. I have included links to our Student, Parent and Staff opinion results from 2003 to 2008. What is obvious is the continued growth, over these years, in the overall satisfaction our community has in Aspley State High School.
