All Aspley State High School students are encouraged to undertake leadership roles within our school community. These students play an important role of service to all students.

2009 Student Leaders

The student leaders who serve in leadership positions are here to serve all students, to ensure all students are heard and make significant contributions to our school community.

Nomination process

The Nomination Process commences during Term 4 of Year 11. You may nominate for more than one position.

Students nominating for Leadership Positions must write an application to describe the skills you will bring to each individual role and how they you enhance the school’s profile through your contribution.

In the application, describe clearly what you have done and how you have demonstrated the skills required for the position.

Applicants must understand that if no student has the necessary skills to fulfil the role, the position will not be filled.

If a student leader is suspended during their Senior Year, the Principal reserves the right to immediately remove his/her senior leadership position.
