Code: BUS003
Title: Making Millions
Pre-requisites: Nil
Outcome levels: Level 5/6
Coordinator: Ms M Murray

Great ideas come from people in all walks of life. But a great idea is nothing unless the entrepreneur has the knowledge to get the idea into the marketplace.

People with great ideas are the heroes and heroines of our economy. Their efforts to commercialise their ideas bring wealth and opportunities. They have the passion and drive that moves our world of business.

This unit offers students the opportunity to learn the skills needed to set up a profitable business of their own. Students will be actively engaged in the process of generating ideas for enterprise, developing a business plan, operating a venture, and evaluating the outcomes, whilst developing conflict resolution and mediation strategies to address problems as they arise.
