A practical yet enquiring approach is used to investigate the teenagers realm of food and clothing, encouraging them to make effective decisions. AssessmentPractical demonstration Practical work for “Boxer Bonanza” will consist of ongoing as well as final assessment of the Boxer Shorts. Some ongoing assessment of practical cooking will occur as well as a practical cooking exam toward the end of the term. All information regarding the assessment for practical work is available from the workbooks “Boxer Bonanza” and “Kitchen Survival” that will be distributed in class at the beginning of each term. Assignment guidelinesPlease refer to the Assignment Guidelines on how to set out bibliographies and references. ResourcesStudents will be given school produced booklets for each of the units. If the booklets are lost, a new booklet may be purchased from the teacher at a cost of $2. Students will be required to bring ingredients from home for all practical cooking as well as providing the fabric, thread and elastic for the construction of their Boxer Shorts. Extra detail regarding all practical work may be found in the booklets and teachers will give students a practical cooking schedule for all practical cooking each term.
