Senior Jersey PDF Print E-mail

Year 11 students will be given the opportunity to order a senior jersey for their senior year. Payments must be made in full before the order is sent.

Prior to 2005, senior jerseys were not permitted to be worn at this school as part of their uniform and no names were to appear on the back - only year.

With the help of the 2005 Senior Leaders, staff and parents were persuaded that certain names were allowed on the back. First names, last names, initials and certain derivations of their names that appear on the school enrolment form could be added. For example, if someone is called Smith, then Smithy is fine and Robertson can be Robo etc. Nicknames are not allowed.

The Principal is the keeper of these standards and does not have the authority to change them without P&C approval.

As the senior jersey is an option for students and is not compulsory to purchase, families have several options:

  1. Do not purchase a jersey,
  2. Purchase a jersey and adhere to the rules so the jersey can be worn as part of the school sport's uniform, or
  3. Leave the jersey blank and put the nickname on the jersey after their Year 12 as a reminder of their experience.

If a student places an unauthorised name on the back, they will lose the right to wear the jersey school.

Our uniform standards are an important part of our school culture and were established many years ago. Many parents select our school based on our school values and high expectations. Your cooperation will ensure these values and pride in our school continue.
