Speech Language Impairment Program PDF Print E-mail

Students with Speech Language Impairment participate in all areas of the school curriculum and are involved in many extracurricular areas of school life. Students participate in a fully inclusive program and receive support for their learning through the Special Education Program.

Students with Speech Language Impairment are identified through the Education Adjustment Program (EAP) process with a verification of their diagnosis and the completion of an educational Profile. Student needs and goals are identified in an Individual Support Plan (IEP/ISP).

The support program aims to develop student independence and to ensure that they are given every opportunity to access, participate and succeed in the curriculum, and to make a successful transition to post school pathways.
