Title: Commercial CAD Graphics

This course is aimed at those students who are interested in trade based careers or are keen to study engineering, architecture, surveying, etc. at university. This course will develop the skills required to achieve success in Senior Graphics. As such it is divided into three contextual units as outlined below. Most work will be completed on computer using CAD software.

• Built environment
• Production graphics
• Business graphics

Assessment

The ultimate boys room:

• Choose your appliances, TV, surround sound system, seating, lighting, etc. for the ultimate boys room (or girls room)
• Prepare the plans required to turn your ideas into reality
• Create an animated fly-through to see what it would actually look like

Skate board production:

• Pull apart a skate board, measure it up and prepare the drawings to be used in its manufacture
• Create an animation of it as it moves around a skate park

Urban Culture:

• Create a corporate image for a new Urban Culture franchise
• Produce a website for your company
