Year 11 Music PDF Print E-mail

Title: Year 11 Music
Pre-requisites:Students who have not had success in Junior Music will experience great difficulty with this subject as it relies on a strong foundation provided in Years 8 - 10.  Alternatively, Music studies outside of school to Level 4 AMEB would be equivalent to the prerequisite.
Coordinator: Ms Sue Lonsdale

Music encourages students to:

  • have their cognitive, psychomotor and affective development enhanced through the study of music as a unique medium for communication and expression
  • develop their critical faculty and intellect through activities that develop higher-order thinking skills and creative problem-solving abilities
