Each term Aspley State High School holds two Open Mic's during school lunch times. Students from Years 7 to 12 are encouraged to sign up and perform in front of their peers, whether it be their first time or practice for an upcoming event. Students can sing, dance, play as part of a band or even as a magician! Open Mic is a valued event in our school community as is encourages participation of all, creates a fun lunch-time environment and builds student's enthusiasm and confidence in performance.
The Open Mic events are organised by our Open Mic Captains. They create a fun environment by MC'ing and running games to keep the crowds engaged.
The Open Mic Captains for 2024 are Zoe H, Dylan S & Maverick W.
