The Visual Arts Enrichment Program is available to students in Years 7-12 who show a keen interest in the Visual Arts and wish to expand their artistic skills.
Our program centres around the extension of key Visual Art skills, while also providing opportunity for students not studying it as a subject. Students have access to both 2D and 3D materials and are taught how to hone and manipulate them to create art.
Through the program, students will work alongside specialist Visual Arts teachers, engage in workshops with guest artists and participate in excursions. Students also will have their artworks exhibited at our Showcase Events.
Program Benefits:
- One-on-one mentoring on art skill development
- Immersion into technical and skill-based art making activities
- Opportunities to work alongside Artists in workshops and visit galleries
- Exhibition opportunities for student work to be showcased both physically at Showcase Events, and digitally via our school newsletter and social media page
- Work alongside like-minded students.
What are we looking for:
- Ability and potential in Visual Arts (drawing, painting, mixed media, clay sculpture)
- Commitment to a weekly after school program
- Commitment to artworks being showcased in school events.
Program entry:
- Application and the submission of an artwork created by the student in the last year
- Applications open each semester.
