Thank you for your interest in enrolling at Aspley State High School.

Aspley State High School operates under an Enrolment Management Plan (EMP). Priority enrolment is given to students whose principal place of residence is within the school’s designated catchment area. Families who live outside the catchment may apply where eligibility criteria are met.

Students are considered for enrolment under the following categories:

  • Local Catchment - Students whose principal place of residence is within the school’s designated catchment area.
  • Specialist Programs - Aspley State High School offers specialist programs in Academic (SPAR-C), ACE (Aspley Community Excellence), Music and Football. Entry into these programs is based on application and/or audition.
  • Out of Catchment - Students who live outside the catchment area may be considered for enrolment where places are available. Out of catchment applications are placed on a waiting list and assessed in order of receipt.

Year 7 enrolment – 2027

Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child at Aspley State High School for Year 7, 2027.

Please start by completing the relevant Expression of Interest (EOI):

Supporting documents to submit

After completing the EOI, please submit the documents below via email to enrolments@aspleyshs.eq.edu.au or deliver copies to the Main Office.

Enrolment documents required:

Proof of residency (local catchment applications only)

Provide:

  • One primary source: current rental/lease agreement, rates notice, or unconditional contract of sale; and

  • One secondary source: recent utility bill (e.g. electricity or gas) showing the same address and parent/carer name.

What happens next?

Once your EOI has been completed and all required documentation has been received, your application will be reviewed.

If approved, you will receive an email containing:

  • a booking link, and

  • a one-time passcode to schedule your enrolment interview for you and your child

Out of catchment eligibility

Aspley State High School does not charge an out of catchment processing fee.

Out of catchment applications will be considered for:

  • Program-specific enrolments

  • Siblings currently enrolled at Aspley State High School
    (This does not include siblings of students enrolled solely in a Specialist Program, or siblings of students placed at the school as a result of exclusion from another school.)
