The diversity of students at Aspley State
High School is one of our many strengths. Initially, the school’s Special Education Program was
established to support students with vision impairment. Since then, the program
expanded to cater for the diverse needs of students with a range of
disabilities. Our Special Education Program supports
students who have disability verification/s according to the Education
Adjustment Program (EAP). Students with Vision Impairment, Intellectual
Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Speech-Language Impairment, Physical
Impairment and Hearing Impairment are provided with reasonable adjustments to
their educational program and opportunities to develop skills to prepare for
their post-school lives.
