At Aspley State High School, every staff member and student is connected to one of our four school houses. These houses play a significant role in fostering school spirit, teamwork, and friendly competition throughout the year.
House Competitions and Carnivals
The
house system is integral to our major sporting events, including the
Cross Country and Athletics Carnivals. These events are highlights of
the school year, where students compete with enthusiasm and pride for
their house.
In addition to the major carnivals, students
participate in various inter-house competitions throughout the year.
These competitions span a range of activities, encouraging all students
to get involved, showcase their talents, and contribute to their house's
success.
Being part of a house not only enhances students' school
experience but also helps build a strong sense of community and
belonging. The friendly rivalry between houses motivates students to
excel and supports the development of leadership, teamwork, and school
spirit.
