Aspley State High School is a comprehensive co-educational high school offering
years 7-12 to approximately 1020 students. Our students are drawn from a range
of suburbs in north Brisbane and come from a variety of backgrounds. Our parents and
families are supportive of our school values and work with their children to
uphold the values of our school.
We intend to be the school of choice for our local families and community. Our students will be actively engaged in learning and will master the skills to be lifelong learners in the new global economy. Our learning climate is safe, disciplined and challenging and a place where all of us can apply Growth Mindsets to our learning, teaching and wellbeing.
Our values are respect, responsibility and cooperation.
These underpin all our work together.
- We respect each other and our right to have an excellent learning and teaching environment.
- We take responsibility for our own learning and adopt Growth Mindset thinking in all we do.
- We work cooperatively with each other, to improve our learning and teaching.
We believe that it is the right of every student to have access to high quality learning and teaching in a disciplined, safe environment. We believe we should all apply Growth Mindset thinking to our learning and wellbeing. We believe in a disciplined school learning environment where students wear the school uniform with pride.
