Aspley State High School offers optional Personal Development Programs for each year level which focus on key skills relevant for their stage of development and culminating in a camp. Some students may choose to do the PDP (Personal Development Program) every year, while other students might target particular programs to suit their needs and/or interests. Students will have theory components which are integrated into a practical session. The focus for each year level is:
- Year 7 - Growth mindset
- Year 8 - Peer Skills
- Year 9 - Resiliency
